Great taste and reasonable price

1st try the others n you'll know the difference. For me a little too sweet but the meat taste best. For some peoples, you should told the waitress to separate rawon n rice coz they serve mix.

Best of rawon all over Java! Soft and tasty beef, crunchy Tempe goreng! The cost of rawon is around Rp 30k per pcs. Quick service. Lot of power socket. Please be prepared on holiday season (eg: on Eid Fitr or Eid Adha) , might be closed.

This place is popular for tourist to try the famous “Rawon” which is a black beef soup. For me the taste is just standard, the services is not that good and they didn’t have many staff so services sometimes slow when it is crowded. Price is expensive for me because it just not worth the taste of the food.

Delicious rawon (black beef soup). Indonesian previous president SBY came here once. We ordered nasi rawon (the soup mixed directly with rice), and since we were in large group, the rice kind of absorbed most of the soup. It was still delicious, and the soup has rather savory taste than sweet. The meat in the soup was really tender. Additionally, you could also add on boiled salted duck egg, fried lungs, empal (dried meat), perkedel (fried mashed potato in egg wash). Would definitely eat here again :)

Suppose to be famous with locals. Can see groups coming in. Service n toilets could be improved further

For me, the rawon sauce is delicious. It's just that the beef is still fishy. My brother ordered gule kambing and according to him, the goat meat was tough. For the place itself, it is quite extensive, the toilet provided is also plenty, maybe it is intended for visitors who are resting in the middle of the trip. In addition, there is also a prayer room. It also provides a lot of snack.

This restaurant serves many food like soto, gulai etc. But I do recommend rawon as your menu. This is so yummi.

This used to be the best place to enjoy rawon (black beef stew) in the past. I visited again this place recently and get big surprises the legendary taste is gone and left the disappointing taste. I have travelled thousand kilometers before came again to this place and expected the legendary taste.

For those who are up for local taste, go ahead and try. But this rawon has different taste with the ones that you've probably tried in Surabaya or other cities. This one has a very light taste, with very thick meat pieces. Maybe not for those who crave a food with rich flavors. Still, worth to try at least once. Happy eating!

The best Nasi Rawon and one of the best viable restaurant near Bromo mountain.

Very casual and good food. Very cheap and good for a quick stop. Only downside was that the tables had lots of trash under them and the floors were quite dirty. But it was fine.

Located in the village of Nguling along the main road Probolinggo. Famous since 1942 with typical food rawon (a type of soup with spices 'kluwek'). Since there is a toll road, access to this restaurant has been missed. From the direction of Surabaya, you can exit the Grati gate.

Nice soup (rawon).. the beef inside the soup was so soft.. the lamb gulai is also nice

it seem this restaurant is a major stop point for people to have their meal while passing this pantura area.after tasting the rawon, i expected more than what i usually have back in town. unfortunately it is not.

Yummy food, clean and the price is not too expensive. You should come to eat in here when you are at Probolinggo. Easy to find and they have big place for parking.

A good place to stop by in the middle of your long trip. They have so many bathroom for you to wash up.

One legendary black stew. Big chuck of meat and authentic taste of soup. The original one is always the best. Portion is standard. Don't get surprised by the price, it is quite expensive, 37k for black stew only. Place is very spacious, but has low hygene, quite dirty floor. Quick serving, so-so service. Spacious parking space. It may be a good rest stop if you pass the area on your trip..

IDR 27.000 for a mixed Rawon with plain rice was not too expensive for lunch.
